I never drive a vehicle I just bought. I always have it transported and when I get it I do some checks before I drive it. I found that a vehilce can be in perfect condition but because it was standing for long so parts will fail after the first 200km of driving it. These parts are mostly things like alternator bearings, wheel bearings, welsh plugs, coolant hoses. From standing too long, they go bad.
